To export text to a specific location, check out FileIO Xtra. It's free
and comes with Director. To export graphics, look into either RavWare's
ImageExport Xtra or DirectXtras' DirectXport Xtra:

I've had good success with ImageExport Xtra. I personally can't speak
for DirectXport, having not used it, but their products are usually very
well regarded in the Director dev community.

If you need to actually FTP a file, try DirectXtras' DirectFTP Xtra. I'm
pretty sure you can also do it with the old XtraNet Xtra, but I don't
remember how well it works -- I haven't used it in about 4 years.
