No D7, use o library pallete. Quando vc jogar o behavior de filtro de
caracteres sobre o field, ele perguntar� sobre os caracteres aceitos.
Escreva todos! Inclusive os acentos e pontua��o. Depois vai aparecer uma
mensagem de erro, entre no behavior e remova uns carcteres malucos (penso
que seja do alem�o ou alguma dessas l�nguas) em uma lista. Depois tudo
funcionar�, inclusive o circunflexo. Eu ralei muito pra descobrir isso...
Quanto a databases, eu uso o Easybase e funciona bem com acentos.
