If you HAVE to restart, look into the Buddy "baMakeShortcut" command. It
creates an alias of any file into any directory. Make one for your
projector and place it into the Startup Items folder. When they restart
your projector will run. Be sure to clean up you mess by removing the alias
on a movieStop handler (a Buddy DeleteFile).

I don't quit the projector to do installs, just hold in a frame loop. When
the installer finishes, the user can just click to regain focus on your
projector, and another click advances the score. I even put up a "click to
continue" message <<before>> I launch the installer. I'm using Buddy API to
launch the installers, and they all run from the stub projector only.

Are you using the latest versions of the Acrobat Reader? I install
QuickTime, Acrobat Reader, and run the movie, all from the same stub.
