you ve to use an Xtra called "fileIO" or another called "fileXtra" that you
can find on macromedia website
it's easy to use for saving, creating and loading file...

Hi.
First, I'm new to the list and to Director. This is my first job using
director, an educational CD-ROM, and I'm having some trouble. Does any of
you guys know how can I save an external txt file with global variables set
during a session, and then load the variables from this txt when I start
the movie again?!
