I also talked to 3D Groove at UCON and understood they'd be selling the
xtra. I assumed the business model change was a financial decision. I
just think that it makes it nearly impossible to use the xtra if you
can't easily control the development process.
After the end-of-year deadline push, I'll be starting a new book on
Director Xtras. After a miserable experience with my past publisher, I'll
be making the new book free and online. I'll also be putting an HTML
version of the past book online, for reference.
