Director doesn't always do exactly like the manual says it should.
So it appears the maximum is not 4k (4096 b) as it used to be, but 4094
bytes, including the url.
And while it used to just snip (or even pass) exceeding data d8 now returns
an error 6 (Bad Url).
You can send much more with postNetText, here the limit is 64 kb (again
including the url's length). If you exceed this limit, the data get severly
mutilated (but _no_ error is returned.)
