The answer must be embarrassingly simple, and I really hesitate to ask the question, but I've been banging my head against the wall all day. I have an external castLib with a dozen of text members (well, in the Prop. box they're called "Xtra cast members" but I made them by inserting text). I can see the correct path to the cst file under Modify > Movie > Casts > Properties. I have unlinked and linked it again a dizen times. The cst file is in the same directory where the dir file is. Everything works fine in the authoring environment. But when I create a projector--in the same directory--it can't find the cast. it doesn't complain or ask me to find it--the texts are simply not displayed on the stage. I checked under Modify > Movie > Xtras to make sure the Text Xtra x32 and Text Asset x32 and the tso Font Xtras are included in the Projector. What am I doing wrong? This is all with D 7.02 under Windwos 2000. Many thanks!
