hi anju,
   one way is that u can create shortcuts on the other
machines while keeping the original file in the
server.recently i had made one electronic attendence
register for my office in director 8 and i am
following the same method.
and the other best method in fact is to use the new
feature of director i.e multiuser server.
even i have very less idea about it .
because in the first method the problem i am facing is
that though the file resides in the server but it
picks up the time from the local machine from where it
is run. u can get parallel problems like that but
still its okay.
