This is probably too easy to be the answer, but it's a possibility . . .

I've discovered that when I get Mac files from a particular client, they 
often have spaces before or after the file name. "quit" is actually "quit 
". This was easy enough for me to catch since I work on Windows & had to 
rename the files to include the extension, but it could easily slip by you 
if you're importing on a Mac.
