A 1.6 mb shockwave file sure gives me the creeps.....unless your users are having high bandwidth access, steer clear of such file sizes. As far as streaming goes, you can have a look at "the mediaReady of member" and "the frameReady". They should do what you need. Try playing with image compression also in the publish dialog box. <snip> The total size of shockwave version is 1.60mb The bulk of the project consists of 8 pict images, properties : 800x600px & 220kb when imported into director. I am totally new to streaming shockwave while it is running from the web. When the file is open on the web the user will need to spend around 30 to 60 second with each image on the 'stage'(in view). Can anybody advise me on the options available to me, Should I split the project into may files? What shockwave file size is pushing it a bit for web use? <snip> Regards, Pranav [To remove yourself from this list, or to change to digest mode, go to http://www.penworks.com/LUJ/lingo-l.cgi To post messages to the list, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Problems, email [EMAIL PROTECTED]) Lingo-L is for learning and helping with programming Lingo.
