Sure--you can have as many movie scripts as you want.
It sounds like you might have a duplicate handler--a handler of the same
name in two different scripts.
Or it might be that you have a sprite behavior or cast script intercepting
an event. A mouseUp, for example, goes first to the sprite behavior, then
to the cast script, then to the movie script.
