What errors are you getting?  What are you trying to do? Is the file you are
trying to write to Read-Only? need more info...

p.s. Are you actually on that PC or are you on another PC? If you are on
another networked PC you could still get to the webserver by using
http://machinename/ or its actual IP address on the network if using a mac
(they don't resolve the names for PCs). You can get the IP address of the PC
by bringing up the command line and typing:
ipconfig [then hit enter]
