You're right.
To kill an instance you must know the application handle of it.
So you should use first call the baWindowList or baFindWindow function to
get the handle of the application you want to close.
And then use it to close the application using the baCloseWindow function.

The budapi site claims that the xtra can kill other instances of a running
app, but I can't quite see how - I'm sure it has to do with the winhandle
stuff, but has anyone had experience with this?
