Hi All,

Another streaming problem I encountered.
Maybe you had a similar experience and found a cure?
Here it is:

I am building a dcr movie that includes a selector for sound tracks (=streamed .swa
audio files) which are then played alongside a QT movie without sound. As part of the
playback controls of the movie the user can rewind and select another sound track and
press play again.

This works well apart from the fact that when the user actually does go back and
select another sound track, one hears - for a split second only - the old .swa
audiofile. It is not even long enough to recognise it, more of a click really, but it
annoys me very much. Even more so as I am sure that there is around it. I have tried
unloading the .swa member, stopping it, pausing it, fade ins, etc and I have been
looking for a way of cleraing the buffer into which the audio files are played (my
thinking is that maybe by playing/streaming a new .swa file one hears the last remains
of the old ones before they are chucked out...)?

Any ideas solutions or hints are hugely welcome!!
Many thanks,
#Nik
