I want to put all the maker names in a movie into a list. then be able
manipulate that list.
All the marker names are numbers. 1,2,3 ect.
put [] into gMarkerList
set gMarkerList=the labelList
put count (gMarkerList) into X --causes error
message
put getAt(gMarkerList, random(X)) into Y
go to Y
But I get the error message
Script error Handler not defined.
put count (gMarkerList) into X
#count

-- My guess is that you need to use the markerlist instead of the
labelList.
-- The labelList contains a string while the markerlist contains a
list.
I'm using Dir 5 and can't find a " markerList". I suspect this is
something from a later version.
Is there a way to change a string into a list?
Should I just put "the labelList" into a text field and use it that way?
What I want to do is make a list of all the marker names then pick one
at random and go to it. Each marker marks the start of a 3 frame
sequence at the end of the 3rd frame I want the marker removed from the
list and the play back head moved to another random marker in the list.
Thanks for any help.
