Hey all - still dealing with these html issues......
We'd really like to print external html files from director (if they need to
be imported that's fine, but the target is keeping them external).
Printomatic, although it can print the formatting, renders the html as a
bitmap I guess, as it looks like horrible jpg compression.
Budapi can print them, but it launches the app that's associated with the
html in order to print them and it's both really clunky to leave the app to
launch something else, as well as the uncertainty of what the user has
selected for the associated app....
The other option is converting all the html to pdf and using the pdf xtra,
but my understanding is that the pdf needs to be on the stage in order to
print? There's no way of printing a pdf member?
Recommendations need to be cross platform.
