Lingo folks,
I would like to announce an effort that I have been working on in my
copious amounts of spare time. I have been writing a book
specifically on Object Oriented Programming in Lingo. I still
haven't decided on exactly what the final form would be, but I have
been writing it as an on-line book so far. Because of recent
discussions on another list, rather than attempting to find a
publisher and go the traditional publishing route, for now, I'm
releasing it for free to everyone.
So far, I have written the first seven chapters. Much of the rest is
in my head, but I just can't find the time to write it down. I know
it is still rough (with spectacular "Irv-art"), but it would be good
to get some feedback to see how rough (or complete) it really is. I
really only work on this in my spare time (which means that I haven't
touched it in the last four months), so any feedback is appreciated
and will be considered, but will not be incorporated any time soon.
Anyone interested can find it at:

Feel free to send any comments to me directly with the word LOOPE in
the title of the message. I hope you find it useful.
