If you don't want to embed the font that kinda rules out OCR Extended (nice
computer terminal font), but also your choice for fixed-width fonts also
rules out prety much everything else.
If you choose to drop the fixed-width bit it goes without saying that Arial
and Verdana would be your best bet.
On a related topic, how much bigger to projectors get if you embed a font?
As the core TTF file is usually nothing more than a few hundred K it seems
tiny compared to the massive 2Mb the basic projector player requires! So
unless I am mistaken in thinking this, what's the problem with embedding a
font?
