DirectMediaXtra by the same company is better in that it uses DirectShow to
display the media. I believe MpegXtra uses MCI which is a 16-bit
architecture and is supposedly deprecated.
What have you tried so far to determine what's different between those
machines? Have you tested in a bare-bones test movie? Have you tested with
a known good MPEG (I think one comes with the Xtra)?
Have you utilized the support system at http://xtras.tabuleiro.com ?
