Doesn't work in authoring for me either. Works in projector and shockwave
though.
Try explicitly setting the browserName before calling the gotoNetPage.
Director might be getting confused between Netscape and IE.

Yeah, but it's odd that both the authoring and projector won't open the
netpage regardless; I'd at least expect them to open it up in different
browsers.
