I use an enhanced version of Equation Editor called MathType (both created
by Design Science), and I assume they are the same for saving files. If you
just want an image of an equation, while your equation is still in the
Equation Editor program itself, choose File/Save Copy As to save the
equation as an image file. MathType has choices of .eps, .wmf, or .gif. I'll
leave it to others to suggest which of these formats is better...I use GIFs.
(If equation Editor doesn't allow you to do this, you might consider an
upgrade to MathType. It's not too expensive. It replaces Equation Editor,
and like it, is integrated into Word.) Then import this image into your cast
in Director.
