Whoaa.... I found very complicated problem in my firs project...
Why No. 1
Why fadeout command sometimes work and sometimes don't... ? I have
opening title song using these script on exitFrame me
sound(1).fadeIn(10 * 60)
sound(1).volume=100
puppetsound 1,"titlesong"
End
And I put some button in main screen and when user click the button it
will play kind of this script On mouseup
....
....
sound(1).fadeout(10*6)
End mouseup
The problem is sometimes director succesfully doing the fadeout
command... But sometimes don't.. Do you have any experience with
these... Any alternative method beside playfile command ?
Why No.2
Why Animated GIF play unpredictable in director ?
I'm creating animated GIF in Adobe Imageready....
When I want to create non-looping animated GIF... It looping forever in
Director
But..sometimes when I want to create looping animated GIF... It has no
looping at all... Wow... I'm getting confused here... Is there any idea
how to controlling GIF ?
Ps: I already set-up the animated using "once" or "Forever" for looping
in Adobe ImageReady....
Why No.3
Why my sound seem have "distort" effect
I'm using rollover with sound when mouse hover...
My sound properties are
Duration 0.5 s
Samplerate 16.000
Bitdepth 16
Channel mono
When mouse over a button...it's okay... But when mouse goes through
buttons..the sound seem to distort...
I'm using .swa format... I try to convert to 8 bit.. But the "convert
WAV to SWA" command doesn't create any file in my harddisk because the
file is already small.... 2kb!
What do you think...
If I'm using DV in 640x480px or less (15 frames, Quicktime,
Sorenson, with sound)... With 2/3 simulatneously animated Gif, 2 button
area with rollover and sound command when hover and click....
Is it to heavy for middle to high machine... I target it on
Celeron/Pentium II-300/350 at lowest.
