I have no knowledge using ActiveX controls in Director, I havn't used them
yet, there is a help file provided in Director's xtras folder on ActiveX
controls, have a look.
I have been using Mui Dialog xtra for dialogs and FileXtra for Saving,
Copying files. Check out www.director-online.com for articles on using Mui
Dialog and FileXtra3 xtras.

Does anyone know the syntax for using common dialog box activex in
director.
How does one open , save.... files (or perform any other method) through
this component. Apart from copying the
two xtras for activex what are the other procedures which one has to
perform in order to run activex controls
successfully within director.
Any extra information on this subject would be appreciated.
