You could do a pasteclipboardinto member, and see what member is
made. The difficulty is that the clipboard can hold several
interpretations of what should be pasted. For example, select and
copy a sound in SoundEdit. Now go to the Paint window in Director and
do a paste. You get a picture of the sound.
