I understand that. People here went wild when I asked if anyone had heard
that. Some actually thought I meant our Learning Network.
I'd agree that they are wrong about not needing the programmers. Ultimately,
out of house production costs more for a product like that.
Sorry to hear about the job, but it seems you might have some good
possibilities according to the list. And you could always apply at
McGraw-Hill!

Actually, a competitor to McGraw-Hill. "Learning Network" is the name of
the company--part of the publishing company that also owns Addison-Wesley,
Penguin, Dorling-Kindersly, Financial Times, and some others.
Learning Network is still a good company, and I bear them no ill will. They
just decided that Shockwave and Flash weren't central to their needs. (Of
course, they're wrong, but I'll let them find that out on their own ;-)
