Well, obviously creating the same functionality in Flash or Real is going to
be a redo. Director movies made for CD can be a redo as well, depending on
how much functionality is involved, and whether any thought was given to an
eventual shockwave delivery.

The main question is: what do your dir assets consist of? How much
functionality do you have to recreate if you port them? How simple a process
it will eventually be is entirely dependent on what it is you're trying to
port.
