we're working in a chat room which displays visual responses to the
activities of the chat room. we have variables such as totalVisitors,
entries, exits etc.
some of these variables we have to store externally and at the moment we're
using a perl script for that. however, i want to see what can be done in
xml, for instance, whether i can store the variables in xml too and how to
make director access the data.
