Just wanted to say I know exactly how you feel. I've been getting these as
well, from time to time. Why can't they just post to the list, like everyone
else?
Until the latest request, I've been grinning and bearing. It's easier to
just help someone then start explaining that they shouldn't be posting to me
directly.Obviously I'm not talking about friends from the list, like
yourself! :) Or people contacting me off list for a passably good reason.
But the last time I was so swamped that I just postponed answering until...
well forever. The guy didn't even bother to change the text in the subject
window, and also had the gall to ask me not to post the answer to the list
because he unsubscribed... Huh? If we're so useless, why still badger us for
help? A bit silly, IMHO.
