You might try the work-around suggested in the D8 Quirk List at:
http://www.updatestage.com/80list.html
Do a browser search for "hyperlink: If you set the hyperlink" (no quotes)
I've also seen it suggested to set the media of the member to itself after
changing its contents:
member("someMember").media = member("someMember").media
