Here's an odd one. Still waiting to hear more from the client on specifics
(machines, systems, etc.), but I thought I'd see if anyone might know
what's happening.
We're re-doing a project for a client who couldn't get the source files
from their previous vendor. We've recreated all the pieces except for one
10 minute .dxr file we used from the old CD. The .dxr plays to the end,
then quits, so we couldn't put it in a MIAW or launch it directly from the
projector (as this quits the whole program), so we built another exe, which
is called from the projector with an open "launch.exe", that launches this
.dxr, and it quits when it's finished.
It works fine on all our machines here, Windows 95, 98 and iMac, but we got
a call from the client saying that they get a projector error when the exe
starts, and when it stops. They can select "yes" to continue and it works,
but we have to get rid of the message.
Any ideas would be very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
