The iButton looks like a great device.
You can get the serial port version of the iButton interface and use Direct
Xtras' Direct Communication Xtra to talk to it
the xtra can be found at:
http://www.directxtras.com/index.htm
Also, the iButton looks like it could be used to store much more than just a
serial #, stuff like user data, program data, looks like fun.
Before you jump into the deep end with this, be sure you can get the entire
serial communications protocol from iButton.
