Hello lists,
Yes Tab, I'm porting this VB code to Lingo. Actually I know a little of VB
and other programming languages like C/C++ (little only). I know how to use
arrays with this languages. The moment I read this VB code what caught my
attention was the negative indexes in the declaration part and even in the
definition parts. I know this is not possible, zero value is (C/C++ starts
numbering indexes in zero but not Pascal). I'm not an expert in Lingo so
before I can assumed that this is not possible with Lingo also I posted this
problem for verification on this possibility.
Yes, I'm using the property lists now (thanks again to Jakob), but as the
moment of writing I'm still debugging the program since the result generated
by this Lingo program is not the same with those in the Excel spreadsheet
computation (using macros -VB code).
Again, thanks to your responses. It really help me a lot and makes me felt
privileged to be guided by the worlds best Lingo programmers.
still learning :-),
