Director 8.5 provides a significantly enhanced version of the Multiuser
Xtra and Server. The MUS now supports the execution of Lingo scripts in a
multi-threaded server environment. No more need to write custom C++/Java
servlets/applets! Plus there are a significant number of new server
specific Lingo commands to enjoy.
I have an entire website dedicated to this incredibly powerful feature set
of Director - http://www.multiuseru.com/ - where you can go to learn more
and see examples of projects done using the MUS features of Director.
