Dear Luis,
I had a similar error message that made the program crash and give a .dll
error this happened when I was using one mp3 file playing simultaneously
with a wav file I converted the wav files to mp3s and the problem
disappeared.
One Mp3 the voice track was being played via Directmedia xtra with cue
points etc and the other a music track was being played via lingo
Maybe this will help

Subject: <lingo-l> Problems with Sound Control.x32

Hi all,

I'm working on a CD-ROM for windows wiht director 8.0, but i'm having lot's
of problems with the Sound Control.x32. It keeps craching the pc, and some
times the iml32.dll also give the same problem.
Could it be for using SWA files for the sound, or can't i access more then
one sound file at the same time from the cd?
Does any one have some idea?

Thanks by all the help.

All the best
