I remember an article on director-online which did deal with something
exactly like this.

Yes, I guess I could have given more information as to what I doing to
create. I'd like to create a spreadsheet form that is scrollable in both
directions. Cells need to be editable and appear hilited when clicked in
cell. I only need to emulate a spreadsheet, not interact with any external
spreadsheet programs or external spreadsheets for that matter. I plan to
save the contents of indivual cells into a list or as global variables. I
have downloaded the TableMaker Xtra from Electronic Ink and it seems as
though it will do everything I need without having to do near as much work
if I were to create this type of functionality from scratch. Has anyone used
the TableMaker Xtra or know of any examples. The example (demo) that comes
with the Xtra only shows limited examples of it's use. Or if anyone has
created an emulated spreadsheet in Director matching the criteria above,
please consider sharing your experience.
