I am actually doing a cd rom project and have recently upgraded from 8.0 to
8.5. In 8.0 Director used to crash in authoring mode, when I had stopped
playing the movie and wanted to restart it. Without changing any code the
update to 8.5 resolved the problem. It wouldn't crash anymore in this
situation.
That is all I can report.
