Yup, sorry , this is not only a 3D looking DJ sound system, it's an xtra
available on
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=17265&release_id=27482
... but the 3D specs are only for pc & directX. Sorry, no macOS for the 3D
sound methods :

you can read in the help file of the dsxtra :
<snip>
"3D sound support is new in this version of the Xtra. It is only supported
on Windows, via the 3D sound support in DirectSound. DirectSound enables an
application to change the apparent position and movement of a sound source.
A sound source can be a point from which sounds radiate in all directions
or a cone outside which sounds are attenuated. Applications can also modify
sounds using Doppler shift. The perceived location of the sound is
controlled by DirectSound by manipulating the volume of the sound, the
left-right offset, and muffling sounds behind the listener.
Although these effects are audible using standard loudspeakers, they are
more obvious and compelling when the user wears headphones. More
information about 3D sound in DirectSound is in the help files for the
DirectX SDK, available from Microsoft's DirectX web site."
