I think there is an xtra that handles this kind of thing... not sure which
one is it but perhaps you'll find the answer on the archives.
A lingo workaround to this is that when you are writing the list to the
external file check if any of the properties are set to <VOID> and if they
are change that value to something you can then recognize. Then, when you
are importing the list again and after you create the actual list, change
those properties back to <VOID>.

Please help me in the following problem:
I've made a system which writes a property list into a external file.
Later this external (text) file is read and valued in order to use it as a
regular list. However, if some of the properties in my list is VOID,
Director outputs it into this external file as <VOID> and when I try to read
and use value command, it's not understood anymore.
