I am having trouble using the scale property of a Flash sprite.
<snip>
on mMoveActivate me
sprite(spritenum).loch = pOrigX - pRangeX
sprite(spritenum).locv = pOrigY - pRangeY
sprite(spritenum).scale = pGrow
end
</snip>
pGrow is a number that is being updated in another part of the script.
pGrow changes just fine, but there is no reflection of this on the sprite.
Initially, the script window required me to put "property scale" with the
other properties in order to ally its fears that:
property not found
sprite(spritenum).scale = pGrow
#scale
Bottom Line: Either Director 8.5 thinks "scale" is something out of machine
language, or I do not know how to use the term properly. Any bets it is the
latter?
