You can change the member of a texture made #fromcastmember, and you 
can change the image for a texture made #fromimageobject (that's how 
the Real video way works). You could also prepare a number of 
textures in the world, and then cycle through them to animate the 
surface. You can also change the UV mapping of the texture, will 
would be a way to make the texture seem to move across the surface of 
the model.
