Yes and no. If you go from movie to movie, yes.

In your case, you have two separate SW movies embedded on the same page. 
You declare a parameter, SW1, for each of them, and set the value 
differently for each. Naturally, the two movies have different values.

And be careful about embedding too many Shock movies on the same page. Each 
one launches an instance off the Shockwave player, which takes up about 
250K RAM. You can bring a system to its knees real quick that way.
