I've asked this (dumb?) question before, and got no responses. Something in
my movie sets the cursor property of sprites to -1, even though I have
absolutely no Lingo that might be doing that explicitly. I've exhausted
every debugging device I know, looking for the culprit, and can't find one.
I've seen one or two quirks related to the cursor command on the
updateStage site, but they don't seem to apply.

Is there any known issue with something that might be setting the sprite's
cursor property to -1 as a side effect?

Some of the sprites involved here are text, others are standard buttons or
graphics. All are in a MIAW.

This is all with D8 and Windows 2000.

Thanks for any tips,

Slava
