Victoria,

1. add an linked cast to your movie, save the movie & cast.
2. open each .MID file into Quicktime Player Pro & select Save As & 
mark Self Contained to create QT Music movies ('wrapped MIDI files').
3. place the QT Music files in the same folder as the linked cast 
(this makes things easier).
3. Select the linked cast to give it focus.
4. Import the QT music files.
