Hello List, I have two questions. I was wondering if there is anyway I can perform a keyword search of text in a flash file using Lingo that has been imported into Director? If so, does anyone know the Lingo code? I don't know/care for action script. Does anyone know the action script code to perform a keyword search in flash or if it even can be done? I love Director but when comes to flash...well don't get me started! It is part of an experiment. Maybe some of you have been to the Director Online site. On that site there is an article and files that proves that Lingo runs about 45 times faster than action script. http://www.director-online.com/buildArticle.cfm?id=973 http://www.director-online.com/howTo/other/LL47.zip Say you wrote a keyword search algorithm using Lingo of text in flash. Say you wrote a comparable keyword search algorithm in flash itself using action script to search for keywords in flash. If Director is able to do keyword search for text in flash, would it not do it about 45 times faster than flash could do it on it's own? Does that make any sense?
