Subject: <lingo-l> Posting to ASP

Hi guys.

This is my problem... my cellular phone company has a web page that
allows users to send SMS messages to my cellular phone. It is basically
a form that sends the message and other data to an asp script, which
then sends the message to the phone. I had previously created a Director
app that sent the data to the asp page but now it seems they are
blocking it somehow. So my first question is this:

Is there a way for an asp script to know the URL where it was called?
How else can they be checking if the form is posted from their URL?

If there is no way they can do this then I may be sending the wrong data
to the script (perhaps they changed it and I haven't realized that). If
there is actually a way of checking the URL where the post came from
then I though I might use the WebXtra (or anything that may do what I
want). What I thought i could do was to have their own URL open outside
the stage and then when it is time to send the form I would fill the
fields with the required info and "click" (virtually) the "SEND" button.
Is this something I can get away with?

If you need any more info let me know. I am not very familiar with asp
pages so I may be overlooking something.

If anyone is interested the page where the original form is located at
is:

http://input.comcel.com/img.html

Thanks!

Jorge
