This might very well be a platform thing - I don't know how codeWarrior
handles references, pointers etc. but I do know you should destroy all
pointers and references before destroying an object in our dear friend c++,
the results of acccessing wild pointers accidentally can be really neat :),
and since mr. director is a c++ thing I guess this situation might very well
create some wildness in pointerland - though I doubt our mm friends haven't
taken this into account...

Still it's programming malpractice and sloppiness....
