I am currently working with Director 8 and when I burn
a projector onto a CD it will only play on a select
few computers. So far it has run on Windows '98 and
2000 but not on '95, NT or ME. On the latter systems
the cd-rom starts up with an autorun command and
launches into the opening animation, but when it
arrives at the first QuickTime video in the movie a
red box with a red cross through it appears. This I
believe means that the sprite cannot be found. The
same problem arises for all subsequent QuickTime
video.
Why is it the sprites can be found on some computers
and not on others?
I would appreciate any advice or suggestions.
