How about installing QT on those computers.. check if
quicktime is installed before displaying a qt movie.
If qt is not installed then you will get a red x, it may
also appear ( not sure ) if your qt movie was created
specifically for a newer version of qt and the qt installed
on said enduser computer is older. Therefore you may need to
check for both qt and a version number.
