Not sure if there is a better way to do this in director (porbably is),
but in flash to do this you would.

create a line at a 45 degree angle then set its corners to the position
of the 2 sprites you want to join. In flash you have to use a hairline
else the line gets fatter and thinner.

Or you can create a horizontal line and then use trig to work out the
angle and distance between your 2 sprites, then rotate and scale the
line accordingly

Hi all,

Any suggestions as to how i can create a line from the
midpoint of one sprite to the midpoint of the second
sprite..both the sprites can be anywhere on the stage
and not necessarily in line. I tried to create a shape
object with a line on it and then positioned it at the
midpoint between the two sprites..but then the
orientation of the line still remains the same. I need
the line really going from one sprite to the other...
Any suggestions...???????
Regards

Richie
