Hi Gareth, What user permissions are you logged onto Windows 2000 with? If you log on as a Restricted User, writing to certain folders is prevented. Thus, the embedded fonts cannot be decompressed to a temp folder on the system and they are then replaced with a default system font. There is more information in the following TechNote: "Embedded font problems on Windows 2000" [TechNote 15766] http://www.macromedia.com/go/15766 Best Regards, Aaron Jones Director Technical Support m a c r o m e d i a http://www.macromedia.com/support/director/ [To remove yourself from this list, or to change to digest mode, go to http://www.penworks.com/LUJ/lingo-l.cgi To post messages to the list, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Problems, email [EMAIL PROTECTED]) Lingo-L is for learning and helping with programming Lingo.
